Financial Information

There are several options available to you when it comes to paying for your dental care.

Dental insurance will usually cover at least some of your dental care in most cases. We work with many dental insurance companies. If you have insurance through one of these companies, your claims will be prepared and submitted for you. Virtually all insurance companies have a “co-payment” that they require you to pay. The co-payment is due when you come into our office for your appointment. The range of benefits offered by your insurance company depends entirely on the specific insurance coverage your employer has purchased for you. Some plans cover very little, while others may pay for most of your dental care. Most insurance plans have a yearly maximum that they will pay.

Many dental insurance plans base their benefits on a list of fees that they have arbitrarily developed. For this reason, you may receive lower coverage than the reimbursement level indicated in your dental insurance plan. For example, if your plan states that it will pay 70% of the cost of a specific treatment, it means they will pay 70% of the fee arbitrarily determined by that insurance company for that particular policy and not the actual fee charged by our office. We have no control over the coverage provided by the various insurance companies.

Bookkeeping discounts are offered to those who pay in full at least 7 days prior to their appointment time when the total cost of scheduled treatment is greater than $1000. This discount is 8% of the total cost when paid by cash or check, and 5% of the total cost when paid by credit card.

Financing is also available through several third party lenders, including Capitol One and Care Credit. We can guide you through the application process for these programs.
